Jen joined BSG Ecology in March 2025 and has worked in ecological consultancy since 2022. She has experience working on residential, commercial, renewable and infrastructure projects.
Jen has carried out a range of habitat and protected species surveys including bats, birds, badger, great crested newt, hedgehog, otter, water vole and reptiles. Jen is competent in using bat call analysis software and GIS when analysing data.
Jen has a BSc (Hons) in Countryside Management and an MSc in Wildlife Management from Newcastle University. During her academic career Jen helped produce a research thesis into the impact of Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) on Species of Conservational Concern (SoCC) within moorland and heathland areas.
