Residential & Commercial Development
BSG Ecology works with a broad cross section of clients involved in delivering residential & commercial development such as business parks and retail warehousing, and large mixed-used developments. We work with clients to deliver a range of schemes from small single unit developments through to major urban extensions.
Built Heritage & Historic Landscapes
BSG Ecology has worked throughout the UK on projects involving the management and restoration of historic structures and landscapes. We provide advice to bodies such as Cadw, English Heritage and the National Trust.
Public Sector
BSG Ecology provides services in support of development management and strategic planning to the public sector. These include a tailored ecological survey and advisory service for Local Authorities and other public bodies with regard to their land / property, and support in relation to other biodiversity duties such as Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA), wildlife site selection and site management.
Energy
BSG Ecology provides specialist ecological and ornithological survey and advice in relation to onshore wind farms, solar farms, energy from waste facilities, gas power stations and nuclear sites. We provide a complete consultancy service, from informing site selection and inputting to concept design to the provision of expert witness support at public inquiry and undertaking post construction monitoring.
