08 Apr BSG Oxfordshire team relocate to Didcot
We are delighted to announce that our Oxfordshire team has recently relocated to a new office space at Milton Park, Didcot, a dedicated science, technology and business park located south of Oxford just off the A34.
The decision to move was underpinned by numerous benefits to the BSG south-east team and the business as a whole. These include better transport links (many of our team can now reach the office by train, bus or bike) and access to a modern office layout that allows the whole team to work in an integrated space while providing opportunities to upscale as and when needed.
Milton Park is a vibrant and interesting place to be located, combining many of the benefits of our previous rural location with opportunities to access numerous amenities. These include on-site cafes, a gym and swimming pool, a nursery, a pharmacy, a post office and a dentist. There is a programme of business community events throughout the year; to date members of the team have taken part in wellness walks and Pilates classes.
We have also been able to continue our horticultural growing initiatives. The team have started planting up the newly acquired urban garden plot with various plants for pollinators with a portion of the space given over to the propagation of field cow wheat, a beautiful but very rare plant that BSG Ecology is growing to support conservation and re-introduction projects. The landscaped grounds also include lagoons and soft planting which have provided our invertebrate specialists with an opportunity to carry out some lunchtime surveys.
Associate Director Judith Giles said:
“It is so exciting to be in new premises, fitted out to suit us and in a location which complements our proactive and enthusiastic team so well. The reaction of the team to the move has been hugely positive and we look forward to welcoming colleagues and clients to our new home over the coming months.”
