Harry joined BSG Ecology’s Newcastle office in January 2024. Harry has worked in ecological consultancy since 2022, prior to which he worked as a GIS Technician.
Harry has experience conducting a range of surveys for species including great crested newt, bat, reptile and birds. He holds a survey license for great crested newt. Harry has completed multiple preliminary ecological appraisals, UK Habitat Classifications and biodiversity gain assessments. He has experience planning and coordinating surveys on large scale projects in complex disturbed landscapes, liaising with clients to report progress and project delivery.
After completing a BSc in Geography, Harry undertook a Master’s course in Ecological Consultancy, writing his dissertation on the habitat requirements of dingy skipper butterflies in the north-east.
Harry is a member of the RSPB and the Natural History Society of Northumbria, and in his spare time enjoys hillwalking in Cumbria, Northumberland and North Yorkshire.
