Natalie joined BSG Ecology in February 2026.
Natalie has experience carrying out surveys for a range of protected species including pine marten, red squirrel, dormouse, great crested newt and bats. She has also gained experience of delivering a range of habitat and site management work during her time volunteering at an RSPB nature reserve.
Natalie graduated from Swansea University in 2021 with a BSc in Zoology and in 2023 with a MSc in Environmental Biology, Conservation and Resource Management. Her research projects included a meta-analysis of the impacts of pesticide usage on bird abundances, and the differences in diversity of avian species within medieval style farming strip fields on National Trust land on the Rhossili vile.
Natalie is a trainee bird ringer under the British Trust of Ornithology’s ringing scheme with the Gower Bird Ringing Group and is working towards a C permit.
