22 May Kirsty Kirkham named as one of Top 100 environmental professionals on the ENDS Report Power List 2025
We are thrilled that Director Kirsty Kirkham has been named as one of the Top 100 most influential environmental professionals in the UK, on the ENDS Report Power list 2025.
The ENDS Power list highlights individuals who have made the greatest impact over the last two years in the environmental sector. Kirsty’s inclusion on the ENDS Power list recognises her work with the minerals industry to help drive, shape and deliver the biodiversity gain regulatory framework effectively through long-running, multi-phased minerals development projects. Kirsty’s passion and commitment have enabled her to secure positive biodiversity outcomes at landscape scale for minerals restoration schemes.
David Payne, Senior Planning Advisor, Mineral Products Association (MPA) commented: “Kirsty is our go-to ecologist for expert views on nature conservation and minerals development, particularly how biodiversity gain is and can be applied sensibly to achieve the best outcomes for all. Always enthusiastic and committed.”
Kirsty commented ‘The minerals industry is uniquely placed to deliver biodiversity gain contributing to genuine nature recovery. It is fabulous to work with friendly professional experienced people in minerals, the operators, decision makers, wildlife conservation organisations, Defra, Natural England and the MPA – thank you ENDS for recognising minerals!’
