Daniel joined BSG Ecology in October 2026. He has worked in ecological consultancy since 2024.
Daniel has experience conducting a range of habitat and protected species surveys including bats, great crested newt, reptiles, badger, water vole and hazel dormouse.
He has written a variety of technical reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisal, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and Habitat Management and Monitoring plans. He is qualified to undertake river condition assessments, carry out bat call analysis and holds a Level 4 Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC).
Daniel graduated from Lancaster University with a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences and has supported conservation initiatives through voluntary work with Operation Wallacea in Croatia and with the Durham Wildlife Trust.
